I saw this dr. As an in patient at Coventry after over 50 days of headache and being fobbed off by other drs including another neurologist that it was just a migraine. He was kind and sympathetic, explained why I was getting so many migraines and I'd been badly managed and he would change my medications and plan injections in the back of my head such emotions be repeated. He stressed he was here to look after me and cares for me and to get me better and if this plan didn't work he had liked of other drugs he could try. He also involved his nurse practitioner who is wonderful and supportive and I have at last got someone who understands and wants to help him and his nurse.

I paid to see Dr Thomas privately after a referral from another consultant, I went privately as it was over an 8 month wait on the NHS and I am in a lot of pain with headaches plus other symptoms I wanted to discuss. He was late with no apology, did not ask me any questions on my symptoms, told me to eat three meals a day! Drink three liters of water a day and sleep eight hours a nite!!! If only! He then almost pushed us out the door, saying he had other patients to see, and how to make payment. Once in the corridor, he said, what's the scar on your neck from?..... This was important to my health, but, by then he'd shut the door. I would not recommend anybody seeking help from him.

I went to see Dr Thomas as I couldnt wait 18 weeks on the N.H. S. I had a tremour and my doctor wanted tome to see a neurologist. I saw him this very cold man and he did various tests . As I sit at his desk he tellsme I have very early signs of Parkinsons he hands me a perscription ,tells me to see him in 6 months and how was I going to pay . He then said he would invoice me and did I do online banking and that would be better . I was not told about these very strong tablets and if and what would they do to me . I was in shock ,and I left the room and will never see this man again .I felt like someone who had just been dismissed . Kindness would have gone along way ,alas not from him .

Dr Thomas is a wonderful consultant. When I went to see him I was incredibly stressed and he was very calm, reassuring and caring but also very matter of fact and I appreciated his honesty. Both him and his secretary went out of their way to keep me informed about results and appointments, always responded to any queries I had. I honestly can’t thank him enough for the care he gave me and would definitely recommend him.

I had been referred to this Dr as I had been suffering with seizures which he put down to migraines, his course of action was to treat me with depression, I’m under another hospital for a life term condition and I’m on a clever combination of drug therapy. I do not suffer with depression. I was very worried about the depression medication Dr Thomas had put me on, so like anyone else I followed his instruction and also presented him with a day by day account of what had happened to me as my partner has noted everything down from me from passing out to seizuireing. I informed dr Thomas of my medication I was currently taking and he assured me no interactions would happen, the day of this visit he diddnt seem very happy he was very snappy with the nurses as his computer wasn’t working and we was very unprofessionally told to move rooms to a working computer. Anyway a long story short I had asked Dr Thomas to communicate with my other doctor at the hospital so they knew what was happening with my health care, only to find 6 months later he hadn’t passed on any information and when he did he got my age wrong and lots of information in his letter was not correct he did not listen or read anything we presented him with, the whole appointment was a waste of time, I was told I would have a follow up in 7 months and it’s been over a year now I had complained about the letter he had written with false information in also. But to top everything off I was not suffering from depression and the medication Dr Thomas had prescribed me had severely had an impact on my medication for my long term condition to the extent it stopped all my medication working making me become very unwell, going through a process of having to change my medication over a period of 4 months to medication that would work again, my Dr who looks after my long term condition told me to stop taking the medication Dr Thomas perscribed as it was damaging my body with a drug reaction that Dr Thomas should have looked in to before prescribing the medication. 1 year later I still have not had any follow up but I would not recommend this doctor, he shouldn’t be in this profession he is in it for the money not for helping others appalled at this service from him!
